Pilates Mat with Props
The Pilates ring, and other props will be used for resistance and to add challenge to traditional mat-work. Work the low-tummy muscles! Strengthen and flatten your abs. Improve flexibility, balance, coordination, concentration, and upper body strength. Develop core abdominal muscles and back strength. Tone and elongate muscles without building bulk. Improve functional fitness. Get in shape and exercise the mind and body.
Pilates Mat for a Healthy Back…good for most low-back issues in neutral spine.
Improve flexibility, balance, coordination, concentration, and upper body strength. Relieve back pain by gaining core strength. Appropriate for all fitness levels. Modifications are given so students can work at their own level. The foam roller, small ball, ring, and thera-band can be used to increase resistance. Students will also enjoy upper body strength training using small 2lb. and 3lb. weighted Pilates balls. The weighted balls add an additional challenge and resistance to Pilates exercises.
